THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

THEME: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE 

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 6:1-2
1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.  

2 For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

MEMORY VERSE: Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1

MESSAGE:
The event that will herald the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ are gradually unfolding before our very eyes. Those who are conversant with the scriptures will understand this fact. It will therefore tantamount to sleep walking into eternity if you neglect this timely warning. 

It is not about going to church or working for God. Are you a child of God? Are you genuinely saved? May be you are a Pastor, intercessor, zonal leader, youth leader, moderator, State Pastor, intercessor, prayer warrior, woman leader, chorister leader; this is good, but remember that these positions are just labels which will be removed on the day of judgment for your real identify to be revealed. Let us tell ourselves the truth. Are you following peace with all men? 

You must do something fast if your ways are not right before God. Do not hide under the canopy of The Lord’s Chosen because salvation is personal. The undiluted word of God we hear in the church should put us on our toes.
We are privileged to be members of the Lord’s Chosen where the word of God is preached according to His will. Our life is not in our hands; no matter if you are healthy or feed well: you can be called home at anytime.

Please do not dwell on self righteousness because it is unacceptable before God. Any reason you may have to delay or postpone your genuine salvation will not be accepted. Do not say, you are still young or you have tight business schedule or your business does not give you enough time.

Anyone who does not have time for God now and dies in that state will have time for Him in hellfire. Any hardened heart against the world of God, will be melted in hellfire. We are in dangerous time now and every one of us must go to God in true repentance and continue to walk on the high way of true holiness.
Nobody can play or outsmart God because He is greater than our heart. If you have been in the Chosen because of protection or miracles, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and miracles can then follow.

PRAYER POINTS:
* Pray fervently against the spirit of procrastination 

* Ask God to help you to be spiritual. 

AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.

LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
