THEOCCASION OF THE 10TH GRADUATION/MATRICULATION CEREM ONY OF THE INSTITUTE HELD ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 22, 2016 AT THE LORD'S CHOSEN HQTRS. IJESHA, LAGOS, NIGERIA.

The General Overseer, The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Senior Ministers, Heads of Department, other dignitaries, invited guests, brothers and sisters, other protocols observed.
We are here gathered once again this year for the matriculation and convocation ceremony of the pastoral training arm of this great ministry, MGBI.
We owe it to God for his unflinching love, grace and support; spiritual and physical which have enabled us to achieve all that we have been able to achieve since the inception of the institute.
It is like yesterday when we try to recall that it is now ten 10 years since the establishment of the school. We are therefore not only presenting to you another batch of graduands and matriculants, but we are also celebrating A Decade of
Ministerial Excellence to the glory of our great God.
This year's event is quite unique as we would be graduating students from other six campuses outside the Lagos Main Campus. These have all undergone the training and satisfied the requirements for the award of degrees and other certificates.
At this juncture, we would like to express our gratitude to our Daddy in the Lord, The General Overseer for his interest and support to the school. You will agree with me that without his motivation we would not have been able to carry on with the laudable plans and programmes of the institute.
As you can see, our building project has reached an advanced stage and by the grace of God, we believe that the project would be completed before the end of this year and the school relocated to her permanent site. By this mile stone, the years of teaching and learning in rigorous and sometimes uncomfortable conditions would have become a history.
I therefore congratulate you the incoming students as you are in for a great time in the school. While calling on intending candidates to come up and enroll and enjoy the facilities that would be put in place.
Over the years, the institute has remained focused to raising the bar of academic standard of the school. This can be seen in the crop of academic staff that we engage who are well trained to in turn train our students. In so doing, the products of the school can stand shoulder high with their contemporaries from other Bible colleges.
Similarly, a high premium is placed on academic excellence and that explains why we recognize exceptional performances to serve as a morale booster to the students. Therefore, we shall be giving awards to the Overall Best student in each of our campuses- Lagos, Abia, Abuja, Rivers, Imo, Bayelsa and Enugu states.
To our dear graduating students I leave you With these few words found tn the scripture in Isaiah 51:1-2. "Hearken unto me ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: Look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and the hole whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. "
You have been trained and certified worthy by man but now you need to seek God's certification and approval. This can be achievable only if you can be wise enough to always remember whose son you are.
You are to emulate the lifestyle of our G.O who is our spiritual father. God called and anointed our G.O and gave him the three-fold vision and mandate.
Therefore, as you go into the field to operate in your area of calling, the ministry will now be a testing ground for you to put into practice what you have learnt. It is not a time to feel you have arrived or you are indispensable in the church.
It should not be a time when you also begin to think you can stand alone and do as you please because what you are seeing here is the outcome of a life totally yielded to God and his will.
Let me assert that The Lord's Chosen Church is one of the mysteries of our generation that is beyond human understanding. It can equally be described as a riddle in the body of Christ that nobody could solve. But I can describe it as a divine mandate that God himself is executing systematically.
I congratulate you for being among the privileged few that have the opportunity to serve in this end-time ministry. I therefore counsel you to shun vainglory, over ambition, pride and immediate gratification. But rather imbibe the spirit of humility, sacrifice, selflessness and commitment to the service of the Lord
Primarily, you have been trained to contribute your quota towards the actualization of the vision and mandate of this great ministry; and not to pursue your personal agenda. It is therefore expected of you to be loyal to the course of the ministry, focused to pursue her goals while also ensuring that you maintain the right relationship with our Lord and Master Jesus Christ whom you have come to seek and serve. Brethren, in all of our earthly pursuit we must not lose sight of the third vision which is Heaven at Last.
To our invited guests, on behalf of the management and students we welcome you most heartily and thank you for the honour you have done us by responding to our invitation. As busy as your personal schedule, you deemed it fit to abandon all and attend this occasion. This is a show of your love and high regard you have for the institution.
As spouses, parents or relatives of the graduating students, I urge you to have it in mind that the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ is time-intensive. You are to show understanding by allowing your loved one who has answered this call to share this short earthly time to which we are all subjected between you and the Master's work. As you do, you will not lose your reward in Jesus name, Amen.
Brothers and sisters here present, it is my pleasure to announce to you that a total of 456 students will be graduating from all our campuses. Of this number, 11 people will bag the coveted Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology, 91 will be awarded Diploma in Theology and 370 will receive Certificate in Theology. Also, graduating are 65 students who have been trained in Foreign Missions Basic Course.
It is my belief that these ones will justify the time they have spent in this great institute and excel in their service to the Lord. Thank you and God bless you all.
