THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...THEME: HOW COMPASSIONATE ARE FOR MULTITUDES PERISHING?
MEMORY VERSE:
And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd:and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace. 1 Kings 22:17
TEXT: Matthew 9:36
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
MESSAGE
Many of you do not care about the multitude
of souls that are dying and going to hell everyday. I have told you several times here that soul winning is the heart beat of God. Matthew 4:19 says "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men, " not fishers of money, business, cars etc. come to Jesus, He wants to 'make you' your duty is for you to follow, leave the making for Him. Whether you are shy, slow to speak, unlearned, etc it does not matter, your duty is to follow.
Remember, Jesus came and died for mankind so that they would not perish. If after the death of Christ on the calvary, man still perishes in sin, then his death is in vain. Therefore the utmost desire of God is for you to have compassion on the perishing souls and bring them to Christ.
In our text above, when the master saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, why? Because they fainted and scattered abroad like sheep without shepherd. I want to tell you, it is worse now than when the master was physically here on earth. More people are fainted and scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. It is left for you to direct and bring them back to Christ.
If you have compassion for these multitudes, no day will pass without your preaching to people and doing everything necessary to bring them to Christ. The way we run about for business and other things if we give half of that time to fishing for men the church would not be enough to contain them. I ask you again, how compassionate are you for multitudes perishing?
PRAYER POINTS:
* Repent, for not doing enough to fish men into the kingdom of God.
* Pray against whatever is distracting you from preaching the gospel.
Use Matthew 4:19 and ask God to make you.
AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven.
AMEN!
