THEME: BY STRENGTH SHALL NO MAN PREVAIL
MEMORISE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)

MESSAGE:

Our father in heaven is the embodiment of true knowledge. No wisdom of man can comprehend His glory. He knows the beginning from the end of every situation. No man or being can advise Him. When you have the understanding of this great God, then you will always depend on him for help in every area.

The scripture makes us to know that by strength shall no man prevail. King Jehoshaphat the king of Judah understood this very much and knew that only God could help him defeat all the host of enemies that came to battle him and because he depended on God, he won the battle. When God determines to help, the whole world, or kingdom put together cannot stop Him from doing His pleasure.

We rely on God to fulfill our earthly ministry, to guide our decision, to intervene in our situations and help us to fulfill our respective purposes of existence. Those who isolate God and feel they can pass through life in their own strength, will only succeed in isolating themselves from the source of strength who is God Almighty. Those who rush into taking decisions without first waiting upon God to direct them will crash because they don't know the end from the beginning.

Develop the attitude of involving the Lord in all matters of decision making, whether it be in the area of marriage, travel, business, ensure that you wait upon the Lord for direction. Do not act hastily like Saul the king of Israel who thought he could help God.

Take time to wait upon the Lord on your knees even when it appears the situation is fierce and tempting. Wait! Do not compromise or walk by human intellect. That will amount to faithlessness, which can make the Lord turn His back on you.

I don't know the situation you are passing through at the moment, but wait on the Lord in prayers, fasting, holy living, evangelism, attending services regularly, continuing in the truth and seeking to grow in the faith; for by strength shall no man prevail.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God my Father, forgive me and show me your mercy for every form of faithlessness I have demonstrated or manifested in time past, in Jesus' name.
2. Nourish our G. O and Mummy in the Lord with great grace, matchless faith and anointing that cannot be defeated by any problem, in Jesus' name.
