THEME: ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE

MEMORISE: Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:24)

MESSAGE:

The word of God is God himself; He is not a man. Whatsoever has been written in His word must surely come to pass. Heaven and earth will pass away, but not one word in the scripture will go unfulfilled. God is the creator and whenever He determines to do a thing, nothing can hinder Him.

As His faithful children, we enjoy the benefits of serving Him by making request for our needs and it will be done for us according to His promises. We must ensure not to ask amiss, but according to His will if you are to receive the answers to your request. God delights in providing the needs of His faithful children, while those outside the kingdom do not have this privilege, except they come into the kingdom. The bible says that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God. Therefore, you can't be a sinner and expect God to heal, bless, prosper, or fight for you.

God is principled and must be approached on the basis of His word and promises. Those who approach Him based on the above criteria do not struggle to get their needs because He has promised to provide them. Word has proceeded out from heaven concerning His faithful children, that whatsoever you ask in His name, He will surely do it.

This goes to explain why the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. As a child of God, you are at liberty to request for healing, sound health, promotion, fruits and gifts of the spirit, academic excellence, prosperity, etc and all these and many more shall be given unto you. If you are struggling to get the promises of God manifest in your life, take time to examine your fellowship with Him and make amends where necessary. Otherwise, ask and you shall receive.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, I ask for a higher level of faith to believe in your promises, in Jesus' name.
2. Every struggling/labouring to get the promises of God in my life; cease, in Jesus' name.
3. I pray for supernatural grace, extraordinary faith, wisdom and knowledge which no adversary can gainsay upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord, in Jesus' name.
