THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Genesis 1:26-28

THEME: ITS TIME TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Memorise: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19)

MESSAGE: 

Stagnation is not in God's vocabulary. He wants you to keep on attaining new heights everyday and conquering new territories. You never should feel that you have arrived after achieving some level of success. Thank God for making you to achieve that height and get ready to move on to a new challenge. God created us to have dominion. His original plan was for us to dominate His creation. Consequently, that means that God has deposited a lot of potential in us which the average man fails to apply.

Many of us are just living an average life while the plan of God for us is to excel and dominate. We are satisfied with just having enough to care for our immediate families and a bit of excess for small pleasures. If only you know what God deposited in you and the untapped potential inside of you begging for expression! The bible says that they that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. It also tells us that creation is earnestly waiting for the manifestation of the children of God. These verses point to the fact that we are created for greatness. However, because many people are not connected to the source of power i.e. God, they fail to realize their potential.

We however, are connected to the source of power and have no excuse not to excel. It is not only on material level but also on the spiritual level. We should be making an impact wherever we find ourselves. The early apostles were described as people 'that were turning the whole world upside down'. As small as they were, they made such a great impact wherever the went that their fame went all over the world. Daniel and his friends were ten times better than their peers that ate at the kings table. This is what happens when a person aligns himself with God. It is time for Chosen ones to start making an impact in our environment. We have already started but it's time to go to the next level. We have been called to dominate our world.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Every spirit of complacency and slothfulness causing me not to reach my full potential; be dethroned by the fire of the Holy Ghost.

2. By the power in the spoken word of God, I command the power for fruitfulness and dominion to be activated in my life, in Jesus' name.

3. Dear Lord, I ask for extraordinary grace upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord to operate in the supernatural, in Jesus' name.
