THEME: BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM
MEMORISE: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew7: 20)

MESSAGE:

There are so many people claiming to be Christians today peddling different doctrines of grace, liberty and freedom that if one is not grounded in the word it is easy to be deceived. The good thing is that the bible foretold these times so that it will not take us by surprise. Indeed, there are many teachings today that encourage people to continue to live a godless life while still claiming to be born again. They have removed the transforming/redemption power of the gospel from their messages and propagate the deception that nobody can live a pure or holy life despite the fact that God commanded that we should be holy even as He is holy. God will not tell us to do something that He knows is not possible. His commands are not burdensome or grievous.

Many people have fallen prey to these preachers of false doctrine and they believe they are in the right place. How can one know for sure that a place is a place of true worship? The bible says that by their fruits you shall know them. A good tree can not bear bad fruit and a bad tree can not bear good fruit. There is no argument about this. You can not go to an apple tree and expect to pluck oranges or mangoes. The fruit of a tree is the direct product of what type of tree it is. When you see a congregation that most of its members are corrupt, sexually immoral, thieves, drunkards and given to riotous living you can be sure that they are products of a bad tree.

We give glory to God that in The Lord's Chosen we can bear witness to the product of good fruits. We see sinners transforming their lives. Former robbers, herbalists, assassins, prostitutes, drug and alcohol addicts, homosexuals, etc, are now evangelists, intercessors, pastors and committed workers in the church. Ordinary members carry with them power to perform miracles such as healing the sick and raising the dead. The proud have become humble. People outside grudgingly admit that Chosen is different. As a chosen, you must make sure that you continue to bear good fruit so that you will be a good ambassador of Christ and the church wherever you go. Let people see Christ in you always.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, give me the grace to continue to bear good fruits all the days of my life, in Jesus' name.
2. Every place preaching false doctrine that is leading people astray catch fire in Jesus' name.
3. Thank you Lord for my G. O and Mummy in the Lord and I pray that you give them the grace to continue to bear good fruits, in Jesus' name.
