SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE..........TOPIC: IT IS A RESTORATION TIME

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

TEXT: Joel 2:25-27, Acts 3:19, Psalms 23:1-3, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
TOPIC: IT IS A RESTORATION TIME
Everyone one and every believer should know that our God and Father has decided to restore us to our former enviable and glorious state (Matthew 16:18).

God Almighty is the one building the Church and the Church belongs to him. Today he is building us, to restore us. It is His sole responsibility to restore us to that glorious righteous state that we are supposed to be. Everyone of you listening to me today, wherever you are shall be restored (Jeremiah 2:1-3).

When we were younger as a church, many were zealous and serious with God but as we got older some became too familiar with the teachings, so lost that glorious state. So God has decided to restore that glorious state to us today. No matter where you have fallen, this day the Lord will restore you.

POINTS TO CONSIDER

1. The reasons, restoration explained and need.
2. Our expected response and the effect.

POINT ONE: THE REASONS, RESTORATION EXPLAINED AND NEED

Our Father in heaven loves us so much and has chosen us to serve Him and live with him forever and ever (John 3:16, Roman's 5:8). God is so mindful of us because it is never God's will that any soul to perish (Genesis 1:26-27, Revelation 4:11, Genesis 3:7-9 Roman's 3:23).

It is a privilege that God has called us and Chosen us today (John 3:16, Romans 10:13, Romans 6:23). You have the opportunity today to be saved if you are not yet saved because Jesus died that you might be saved (John 19:30, 1 Peter 2:9).

1 Corinthians 6:9 This was the state of many of you who embraced Christ. The question now is what is your state? The Lord transformed us and clothed us with holiness and righteousness but now many have began to desire the world and deviated from God. This has affected our state, some of us have now lost that glorious and righteous nature.

The Lord has seen this state and had decided to restore us (Joel 2:25-29, John 10:10, Matthew 15:13, Matthew 16:18). The Lord will build you again, He loves.

Matthew 12:11-12. The trumpet can sound any time from now and the Lord has seen the nature of the Church, so has decided to restore us.
1 Peter 1:15

POINT TWO: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE EFFECT

Everyone should take advantage of this message and get the necessary restoration. Let us be open, let our cry today be, 'I need this restoration.' I am talking to you, everyone here needs restoration. We should turn to God in repentance and ask for restoration (Psalms 40:1-3). The Lord will revive and restore you.

Psalms 51:10 Restoration is coming your way. God will restore everything you have lost.
Judges 6:1-6

After today, you shall no longer struggle to do the will of God. Praying, preaching, living right will be very easy. As you are leaving here today, your life shall never remain the same. You will receive the over flowing power of God. You will be going home like a drunk man because you will go home with the overflowing power of God. Anything that has been damaged in your soul, family, life, career, the Lord is restoring it.

Hosea 6:1-3, Hosea 11:1, Joel 2:25, Zechariah 3:1-5

You have waited patiently for God and now the Lord has remembered you. All the enemies have destroyed are coming back to you. It is time for restoration!

For those who are not yet born again, take today and come to the Lord for restoration.
