THEME: GUARD YOUR SALVATION JEALOUSLY
MEMORIZE: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. " (Galatians 6:7)
MESSAGE:
While we are bent on making God's blessings to manifest in our lives, we must also realize that God's blessing is not the visa to heaven. One can have material blessings and yet miss heaven at last. The blessings of God if not well managed might become like a snare of the fowler. So, we must be careful not to be carried away by physical and material blessings. We must not place greater emphasis on blessings more than we do for eternal life. Getting material blessings should not take our eyes away from the more important of all: eternal life.
Material blessings are just things which God gives to His children as icing on the cake. They are not the things that count most. The main thing is the salvation of the soul. That is why God wants us to put the issue of salvation first before anything else. The reason is because the material blessings we gather here on earth are temporary and cannot follow us to heaven. In other words, they are not enduring and therefore do not deserve all the time and energy we exert trying to gather them. I might not know exactly the material things of this life that is drawing all your attention. God by His word is asking you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that whatever you are seeking for in this life, shall only serve as an addition.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. I reject every program/plan of the devil to derail my salvation and send me to hell, in Jesus’ name.
2. O God my Father, forbid it that iniquity will be my ruin. In any way that I have stepped my' feet into the land of the dead, recover me by your mercy, in Jesus’ name.
3. I decree that I shall be a beneficiary' of your blessings here on earth and still make heaven at last, in Jesus’ name.
4. O God of Chosen, preserve our G. O and Mummy in the Lord from any attractions and entanglements of the world, in Jesus name.
