THAT WE MAY EXPERIENCE HIS WONDERS - BY PASTOR LAZARUS MUOKA

COMBINED SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE

MINISTER: PASTOR LAZARUS MUOKA

THEME: THAT WE MAY EXPERIENCE HIS WONDERS

TEXT: Amos 4:12, Matthew 3:3, Luke 3:4 - 8

As the Wonder Working God crusade is fast approaching, it has become important to preach this message. Knowing our vision, we should invite people to this program because God is set to do wonders in our midst, come Saturday and Sunday next week.
As God is set to move mightily amongst us in this program, we should know what to do to experience His wonders. (Exodus 19:10 -16). The point is that Moses told the people what to do and they did it and they saw the wonders of God.

For more understanding of this message, we shall consider the following subheadings;

1. It is time to do something and the reasons
2. Our expected response and benefits

1. IT IS TIME TO DO SOMETHING AND THE REASONS

Knowing fully what God is about to do, we all should be ready to do something to experience this God. No wonder those before us asked this great question (Luke 3:10, 12, 14) All these people want to know what they shall do so that they can go on to experience the wonders of God. For us to experience God’s wonders, we must sanctify ourselves (Joshua 3:5), God is coming in a great way on Saturday and Sunday (15th and 16th July 2017) that an ordinary person cannot behold Him (1 Kings 19:11 -12, Exodus 19:16). In the day of visitation, what you shall hear is a voice and whatever that voice said shall come to pass. (Matthew 24: 29 - 31, 21: 1 - 13). The reason why we must do something as a preparation is because the person to come is a Great God, the Creator of the universe. We must make ourselves available, just as the people of old prepared for three days.

2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS

As we prepare ourselves, ensuring that nothing is standing between us and our God (Amos 4: 12, Joshua 3:5), God will surely visit us in Jesus' name. As the Lord is set to do wonders, let us make sure we don’t keep enmity (Hebrew 12:14), let’s ensure holiness (1 peter 1:15-16) inside and outside. We should also engage in prayer and fasting (Ephesians 6:17 - 18) and we shall experience the wonders of God. Beside, we shall do more than others, let us engage in publicity for the upcoming crusade.

CONCLUSION: For those who are not yet born again and backsliders, they should confess their sins, repent and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. Proverb 28:13; Job 1:33; 1 John 3:8;Amos 6:9; Mathew 15:19; Romans:1:29.
