THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL..THEME: THE SECRET OF BREAKTHROUGH AND TOTAL POSSESSION:

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: MONDAY; MARCH 13TH, 2017.
TEXT: Deuteronomy 28:14-61
THEME: THE SECRET OF BREAKTHROUGH AND TOTAL POSSESSION:

MEMORISE. "1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you. 2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:1-2)

MESSAGE:

The secret of possessing your possessions lies in total obedience to the statutes and judgements of God — not adding or removing from it, but rather going ahead to fulfill them. Those that strictly obey the counsel of God shall receive breakthroughs and possess that which God has earmarked for them. Breaking through does not lie in physical labour, but in obedience to the word of God. Little wonder, the Bible states, "If ye be willing and obedient. ye shall eat the good of the land. (Isaiah 1:19). On the other hand, disobedience to God's commandments is akin to disaster. Isaiah 1:20 states. "But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it."

The choice to breakthrough and possess or lose everything reserved for you therefore lies in your hands. God has spoken; it is now your duty to comply. Have you struggled so much to have breakthroughs in life without success? You must sit back and reconsider your options. Following the counsel of the Lord is an indispensable requirement. Align your priorities to accommodate God first. That is to say that you must seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God, give me the grace to obey your word, in Jesus name.

2. Any spirit of rebellion hindering me from doing the will of God: be uprooted out of my life, in Jesus' name.

3. Any spirit urging me to labour and labour instead of following the counsel of the Lord; be silent in darkness, in Jesus' name.

4. Any power assigned to sabotage our G. O's effort: receive frustration, in Jesus' name.
