THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

THEME: STAY STRONG, DON'T SHIVER
MESSAGE
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. "(Ephesians 6:10)
The above scripture was the admonition which Apostle Paul gave to the Ephesians in his epistle to them. In that epistle, they were expected to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might to resist whatever would challenge their faith in God that it may be well with them. The admonition touched every stratum of their lives including honour to parents, respect to elders and masters and living a righteous life, preaching the word of God. They were also expected to be strong to wage spiritual battles against the devil whenever he surfaces in their lives.

We are in a world of battle where the enemy surfaces very often to wage war — in our marriages, businesses, jobs, careers and so on. The admonition to you today is to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Do not wait for people to fast for you and pray for you. You must be strong in the Lord. Do not be afraid for the Lord is with you. By the power of His might, challenge any power that has arisen to bring you down.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. Everyday throughout the rest of this month, O God, I earnestly pray that I operate in strength; not in weakness, in Jesus' name.
2. Any spirit of weakness projected into my life to pull me down, in the name of Jesus I rebuke you.
3. Father, grant me the capacity to regain lost opportunities, push down my boundaries and claim new territories, in Jesus' name.
4. O God, I ask that you increase the level of my faith, righteousness, sanctification, consecration and zeal, in Jesus' name.
5. Father, possess our G. O and our mummy in the Lord by your Spirit and power. Release upon them greater grace, fresh power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. Let there be greater manifestation of Spiritual gifts and fruits in their lives, in Jesus' name.
