PASTOR'S MESSAGE AT #NGOROKPALA2016 CRUSADE DAY 1
DAY ONE MESSAGE
TOPIC: GOD’S TIME TO TAKE OVER PART ONE (1)
TEXTS: Joshua 5:9-13, Isaiah 43:10-13
God has decided to take over the world through this great ministry. And by the virtue of the power available in this programme, the Lord will take over our problems.
Matthew 15:13 – This is the assurance and power of freedom God has given us.
For better understanding of the message, we shall consider the following subheadings:
1. THE REASONS AND INSTRUMENT OF TAKING OVER
Devil is fighting with his last strength to draw souls to hell with him. Even when the Egyptians persecuted the children of God, yet God delivered them, he couldn’t prevail. Rev. 12:7-12
There was war in heaven and since then, there is battle between man and the pit of hell, devil fought tirelessly to stop man from replacing him in heaven. Therefore, he afflicts people with suffering and diseases so that man can turn away from God and backslide, but according to John 3: 16
Luke 19:10, Joshua 5:13-15 – Joshua was the head of the military of Israel to defeat the enemy. God has been in the work of delivering and empowering His people to stop devil. So, same today He has empowered the Lord’s Chosen to arrest the end time army of the devil. The same purpose God has mandated us to revive the world for the body of Christ. The same way, he used Joshua, He is using the Lord’s Chosen; Isaiah 61:1
Acts 2:22 – God appointed and approved Jesus the son of God by signs and wonders, the same with the Lord’s Chosen.
Matthew 19:26 – No doubt, with Jesus the power of old, can still be experienced.
Matthew 12:15, Jesus never changes, He is still in the business of healing and delivering people.
2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFIT
Jesus is more than able, so cast all your cares on Him, hand it over to the Lord, 1 Peter 5:7
Matthew 11:28 – come to the Lord with your loads and believe in Him, Mark 9:23. There is no problem too big for God. Just like the fourth man in the burning furnace (the three Hebrew boys) The Lord shall take over our problems today.
Matthew 4:23 – There is no manner of sickness and diseases that can withstand our God. As you hear the word of liberation from the man of God, all your problems are leaving you, in Jesus name.
Psalm 34:6 – The poor man cried, and the Lord solved ‘All’ his problems, so shall your problems be solved.
Matthew 7:7 Everyone that shall ask receiveth. And He shall give us our heart desires, spiritually He will bless us, physically he will bless us, materially He will bless us. In all things in Jesus Name.
CONCLUSION:
For those who are not yet born again, they should surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, the Lord will forgive you and favour you with blessing in Jesus' name (Proverb 28:13; 1John 5:17; John 1:12; John 8:36; John 14:6; Matt. 6:33; John 3:3, 16; Rom. 3:23; 2Cor. 5:17; Rom. 10:13; Phil. 4:19).
