THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: MONDAY AUGUST 15TH, 2016.
THEME: YOU MUST FIND SOMETHING DOING!
TEXT: Proverbs 14:23, Proverbs 28:19
14:23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
28:19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.

MESSAGE:

"The destruction of the poor is their poverty. " (Proverbs 10:15)
God hates laziness. In fact, the Word of God says every believer must work with his hands to be able to feed himself and contribute to the work of God. What do we have today? We have situation whereby people use the work of God as excuse for not working. You find situations where people say they are not working because they are evangelists, intercessors, ushers and the rest. As a result, they go about begging for food and money. Are you among such people? God says you have to work. Apostle Paul made tents. Luke was a doctor; some were fishermen and many others!

There are some people that are looking for plenty of cash to start a business. They don't want to hear anything about humble beginnings. May I inform you: Many have started small-scale businesses with almost nothing and God is prospering them. A woman started selling sachet water without any capital and made outrageous savings within a few months. Another is frying beancakes and God is prospering her. Are you still waiting for bank loan without collateral though you don't have any means of paying back?

Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.
Prayer Points:

1. Any destruction programmed into my life through poverty; be cancelled, in Jesus' name. Any yoke of inherited poverty from my father, family or kindred; be terminated, in Jesus' name. Let the generational poverty of my father's house break and scatter, in Jesus' name.

2. I stand upon your word and I decree that whatever I shall lay my hands upon, shall prosper, in Jesus' name. Let God's divine mandate of fruitfulness and multiplication, to subdue and dominate; become activated in my life/business, in Jesus' name.

3. I cast out all the spirits of failure, disappointment, rising/falling, limitations, poverty, snail-speed progress, delay and embargoes against good things, in Jesus' name.
