TEXT: Acts 1:10-11
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

MEMORY VERSE: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Thessalonians 4:16

Many Christians are still in doubt of the reality of heaven and the rapture of the saints. I believe it is because of the doubt of where they are going that many are afraid of death. Anytime you are in a vehicle travelling or in an aircraft flying to anywhere, the moment there is any sign of accident or plan crash, you will understand that nobody is ready to leave this planet earth. In the Bible and in many teachings we have been made to understand that heaven is a beautiful place and the streets are made of gold and everybody who is in heaven is given a mansion as his or her residence. Inspite of the beauty and the comfort of heaven, nobody wants to die in order to go there. What then is the problem? The answer is not far-fetched. The reality of it is that we are not sure of our standing with God. The adherent of the other religion has been indoctrinated that the more people they kill on earth, the more promotion they will have in heaven etc. Even
though this is not true, they believe it with all their heart. They want to kill as many people as possible to assure them a place in heaven. This is unfortunate, yet they believe in it strongly.

In our own case, we have a better message, Christ is real, He ascended to heaven and He is coming back to rapture the saints. There are Biblical proofs to all these. We should not be afraid of death. We Christians know where we are going.

At all times we need to be in right standing with God and continue to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
Apostle Paul said that if he dies, he dies for Christ and if he is living. he lives for Christ. He was sure of himself and his relationship with God. This is what every Christian ought to be saying, if he is sure of his right standing with God.

In all your actions, amend your ways and be ever prepared for the rapture of the Will you be among the saints?

Pray that God give you the grace to live for Him
Ask God to direct you to amend your ways.

AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
