THEME:UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT OF JUBILEE
Text: Leviticus 25 .9-12 says, Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, In the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the Inhabitants thereof: It shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes In It of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the Increase thereof out of the field."
Memory verse:
As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feasting and joy, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor. Esther 9:22
MESSAGE:
In every fiftieth Sabbatical year, God commanded His servant Moses to proclaim Jubilee unto His people - the Israelites of old. During that period the people rested from their labour and refrained from any kind of agricultural activity until the period was over. Moses would sound the trumpet throughout the land and all the inhabitants were required to grant freedom to all their slaves and all the people returned every other man's property or item in his possession.
It was a period of all round joy in the land as those in bondage or slavery regained their freedom and independence.
As for us in the Chosen, this month calls for a period of sober reflection and stock taking. We should look at where we are coming from and where we are and begin to make amends. This is a period of releasing those you have locked up in the prison of your heart through unforgiveness, hatred, envy, malice and the likes. This is a period of extending hand of fellowship to those who may have offended you, in any way and be reconciled with them. No one who operates in hatred or unforgiveness shall make heaven. As a Chosen, how do you treat others?-Your neighbours, house-helps, those under you in the office, in your business, even unbelievers?
You must remember that your love for God starts with your love for others. And so, use this period and straighten the things out with others so that nothing will stand between you and God.
IJohn 3:17 says, "Whosoever hath this world's good, andseeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, howdwelleth the love of God in him?"
Prayer Points:
Pray and ask God to give you the grace to forgive others.
Pray for the mercy of God to love and help those In genuine need.
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.

If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
