Holiness Is Our Beauty

Holiness Is Our Beauty

MESSAGE FROM THE PULPIT

MINISTER: Pastor Lazarus Mouka

Text: Ex 28:1-3, Psalm 90:17; Psalm 132:9; Rev 3:4

Topic: Holiness Is Our Beauty

Every believer or Chosen should know that we are a Royal Priesthood, Chosen specially to minster to the Most High God, Ministering to the office of God. We should appear before God and all the people in the beauty of holiness or in the beauty of the Lord. Through us, God shall be glorified, people shall see the glory of God, come to the Lord and be saved. 1 Peter 2:9-10
Ex 28:2 - From this scripture, we read that holy garments was made for Aaron and his sons for glory and beauty as ministers. This will go a along way to tell us how we should appear before God and His people, the kind of lifestyle expected from us. God's holiness is forever.

Mal 3:6. God has not changed in His requirement for His Children/priesthood. 1 Pet 1:15
God demanded from the people of old to put on holiness as a garment. In all generation, He commands His people to be holy. In the absence of the beauty of holiness, we Believers will be unattractive, we will not attract God's presence and He won't have anything to do with us. Holiness is the ancient landmark.

If we endeavour to live holy lives, the LORD will use us to convict sinners. This is because it is the LORD that worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. If we put on the garment of holiness, the presence of God will be with us.
Let us make sure that from henceforth we put on holiness. Because holiness is our beauty.
For better understanding of the message, we shall consider the following subheading;

A. The Beauty of Holiness Explained And Reasons
Everyone should be know that True Believers are the most beautiful people on earth. Our beauty is not the beauty of the world, it is not in clothes, shoes, headgear, wrapper, tall or short, our beauty is that of Spirit and Character.  We do not need make-up, our lifestyle is what speaks for us. Our beauty is the best; our beauty is a scarce commodity. 1 Peter 3:3-4; 2 Cor 5:17; Ephs 4: Col 3: 8-10; 1 Peter 1: 14-16; Gals 5:19; Matthew 5:13-16; Psalm 50: 1& 2; Psalm 119: 1; Matthew 5: 8

If you are not born-again, no matter how you make yourself up, no matter the praise society or institutions accord you, know it that you are the most ugly person on earth.
We should put on the New Man; this New Man is Jesus Christ. Our Beauty came to us as a result of our redemption

N/B: If you are not beautiful enough before coming to this church, we are going to pray upon you and the beauty of Christ will be upon you.
It is the absence of holiness that has resulted in the proliferation of "good for nothing" churches all over the place. In the absence of the beauty of holiness, a Believer is nothing. Without holiness, a Believer becomes ordinary and lacks power. Without holiness, no matter how a Believer will appear outwardly, God cannot shine through him. When One is defiled, he or she will lack boldness.

~ Out of zion,  the perfection of beauty, God has shined.

Are you a light or are you darkness? If you will keep to holiness, God will be with you.
Let us put on holiness so that we can appear beautiful before people and before God.

B. The Necessity, Our Expected Response And Dangers Of Neglect.
Our Father in heaven has commanded us to be holy. He knows the best thing for you. God has been since the beginning of this world and he knows all things.
May I remind you, our God renews the youth of His people. Without holiness, you look so tattered, you become a reproach.
Exodus 28:2; Jeremiah 50: 44; 1 Peter 1: 15; John 17: 4-5; Hebs 12: 14; Isaiah 52: 1; Psalm 90:17; Psalm 132: 9; 1 Peter 2:9; Exodus 28:2; Revs 3: 1-6; Zech 3: 1- 5;
When you are like Christ,  you will represent Him. Once a believer is holy, he becomes a representative of God who is an embodiments of holiness.
Whomever God has chosen, He will be glorified in the life of that person. He will make him a shepherd and stand by him. Holiness will make you to smile affect others.

CONCLUSION:
From today, every Chosen is expected to put on the garment of holiness.
We all should endeavour to ensure we live in newness of life.

The Danger Of Neglect -
~ Such a person or believer will bring shame to the Lord.
~ He will lack boldness.
~ The person will live his life according to his own way, without following the rule.
If you here, we have a rule and we are living our lives according to the Bible.
