THEME: SEEK FOR SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT

MEMORISE: Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. (Acts 27:34)

MESSAGE:

Many people want to be well nourished and looking good. Therefore, they eat everything that will make them robust and healthy and apply lotion and cream that will make their to skin to glow. Physical nourishment nourishes the body and makes it stable. That was why Apostle Paul had to plead with the occupants of the ship to take something having been without food for fourteen days.

Without nourishment, it is difficult stay healthy and focused. Nourishment is very vital to the body no doubt. But when nourishment is one-sided, it does not create a balance. A person is supposed to be nourished both spiritually and physically. Nourishing the body requires intake of food and water, while nourishment of the soul requires intake of spiritual food such as prayer, fasting and reading the word of God. Inadequate intake of spiritual or physical nourishment produces a situation of imbalance which causes malnutrition or kwashiorkor.

Therefore, while you are feeding your body fat with physical food, water and assorted drinks, it is also good that you remember to nourish yourself spiritually through prayer, fasting and reading the word of God. Without receiving spiritual nourishment, it will be difficult to maintain an effective Christian lifestyle. It will also be difficult to control what happens in your life physically since the spiritual controls the physical. Anyone that is not nourished spiritually will not grow, but will live a life of manipulation.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. By the power in the name of Jesus Christ, I receive grace for supernatural nourishment from above, in Jesus' name.
2. Every yoke of stagnancy upon my life; be destroyed, in Jesus' name.
4. By the power in the name of Jesus Christ, I command whatever I lay my hands upon; receive grace to prosper, in Jesus' name.
5. Let the anointing power of God upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord; be renewed and nourished from above, in Jesus' name.
