THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 3:18-20

THEME: THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS

MEMORISE: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

There is a way that seems right to man but the end of it is destruction. Many have forsaken God in today's world because they believe in the wisdom of man. They rather believe in the scientific theory that heaven and earth was a product of evolution rather than God's creative power. They believe that human beings evolved from apes or monkeys despite the fact that they can not explain the reason why some apes did not evolve into humans.

Science and technology has made many to question the existence of God. Scientist try to explain every miracle through logic or formula. Recently there was an article published by some scientist that said that there is a mysterious thing that is holding the earth together that does not allow the inhabitants of earth to fall off as the earth rotates on its axis. Normally we should have fallen off the face of the earth as it spins around the sun. They acknowledge that some force is holding the earth together but they are still trying to find out what that force is.

We that profess Christ do not need to do any ground-breaking research before we know what that force is. The Bible says that God holds the whole world in His hands. While they are still searching we are rest assured that our God is in control of the universe. Do not be carried away by the advance of technology or science. It can never take the place of God. Man can not create life neither can he live for ever or raise the dead.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O Lord God my Father, you are the awesome being of heaven. None can compare with you. Receive all adoration and praise, in Jesus' name.

2. Arise and execute judgment on your enemies, O Lord, in Jesus' name.

3. I decree that no weapon of the enemy formed against our G. O, Mummy in the Lord and their children shall prosper, in Jesus' name.
