THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: GOD HAS SWORN TO BLESS YOU

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

DATE: Wednesday September 20th, 2017.
TEXT: Deuteronomy 28:13, Ezekiel 34:26
THEME: GOD HAS SWORN TO BLESS YOU
Memorize: "13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. " (Hebrews 6:14)

MESSAGE:

There cannot be a better assurance of blessing than the fact that God has sworn to bless us. This was the step He took in trying to ratify His blessings upon Abraham and today, by the promise of God, we have become the children of Abraham by faith and therefore, partakers of God's blessings through Abraham. God loves us and is ever ready to demonstrate this love by blessing us. This explanation has become necessary in order to boost the morale and confidence of believers in Christ who look up to God for blessing. It is the word of God who does not renege on His promises.

Many people have sought for God's blessing to no avail as they are hindered by one thing or the other. Their inability to experience God's blessing has to do with them rather than God. Such people should evaluate their relationship with God to know whether it is in line with Abraham's relationship with God, if we claim to be the seeds of Abraham, our relationship with God must also be like that between God and Abraham. Their relationship thrived because Abraham was obedient.

Therefore, no matter what you are going through today, as long as you are a true believer, every promise of blessing God has made concerning your life must surely come to pass. One thing of note is that you must be patient while God is working it out. Abraham endured patiently until he obtained the promise of God.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. I decree and declare today, that the blessings of God through Abraham and our Lord Jesus Christ shall flow into my life, in Jesus’ name.
2. Any power working to divert, oppose, hijack or hinder the blessings of God upon my life; receive instant judgment by fire, in Jesus’ name.
3. O God, I pray, give me the patience to wait upon you, in Jesus’ name.
4. O God of Chosen, I command greater outpouring of spiritual gifts and blessings upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord, in Jesus’ name.
