THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: Monday May 22nd, 2017.
TEXT: Ephesians 2:4-10

THEME: GOD ALLOWED THAT PROBLEM IN ORDER TO PROVE HIS POWER
MEMORISE: “16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.” (Romans 9:16-17)

MESSAGE:

The problem you are passing through is not because is not insurmountable. It might be that there is economic recession. Even though there might be an economic recession going on, that is not why you are suffering. Our supply as children of God is from above. Therefore, God has allowed that problem so that He can use it to showcase His power in your life. Therefore, you must not be weighed down by the size of the problem or who is behind them or how long it has lasted. God will use them to showcase His power. The journey of life does not depend on your ability to hustle or negotiate your way out of problems.

It is only those that enjoy the mercy of God that will have things worked out for them. No matter the type of problem you are passing through, God has a solution to it. Have you lost hope in life thinking that all is gone? The problem in your life is not because you have laboured less or that the problem is insurmountable. The Bible says that it is not about your personal efforts and will- power to make it in life, but of God that showeth mercy. Therefore, your ability to overcome your problems depends on the availability of God’s grace and mercy.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God that showeth mercy, I pray that you will show me mercy today, in Jesus' name.

2. Any problem bedevilling my life like a Pharaoh, I present it before you asking that by your mercy; let it be rolled away, in Jesus' name.

3. O God my Father, because it is not of him that willeth or of him that runneth, but of you that showeth mercy. I pray that today, I will be singled out for your blessing in Jesus' name.

4. O God of Chosen that showeth mercy, may our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children; be sure beneficiaries of your inexhaustible mercies, in Jesus' name.
