REMEMBER MERCY O LORD!

THE GREAT DAY OF MERCY SERVICE MESSAGE

MINISTER: PST LAZARUS MUOKA

TOPIC: REMEMBER MERCY OH LORD

TEXT: Habakkuk 3: 1 - 2, James 2:13

You have discovered that you are always sensing danger, because of what you are going through, fears having eaten you up. If you are the person that is being described here, I’m assuring you, mercy shall come upon you. I am very sure that for you to be reading this message, God has already shown you mercy.

For better insight and benefits, we shall consider the following subheadings;

1.The examples and reasons
2. Our Response And Benefits

1. THE EXAMPLES AND REASONS
Many people offended the Lord in time of old, for that reason we’re in judgement. for example, the Israelite offended God and they are in judgement, God wanted to disinherit them. Moses pleaded for mercy (Numbers 14:1 - 20). When they turned to worship idols, God judged them and handed them over to their enemies to torment them for 8 years (Judges 3: 6 - 9), the Israel sinned again and was punished for 18 years(Judges 3: 12 - 15) but when they cried for mercy, God delivered them.
I don’t how many years you’ve been suffering due to sin, as you cry for mercy, God will deliver you. The children of Israel sinned again and was oppressed for 20 years (Judges 4: 1 - 3), that means when we sin against God, the number of years for our punishment increases (Judges 10:7 - 8, 13:1) and this punishment might be in form of barrenness, poverty, sickness or lack of partner. If you will cry for mercy today, that punishment will be cancelled. You should understand that nothing happens without a curse but if you cry for mercy, God will remember mercy (Micah 7:18, Lamentation 3:22).

2. OUR RESPONSE AND BENEFITS
No matter the evil in your past, no matter the bondage or punishment you are passing through. No husband/wife, no children, poverty, sickness, listen to me, as we call upon God for mercy today, those tears will be wiped away in Jesus' name. All you have to do is to cry out as we are going to call for mercy, renounce all your sins and promise God that you will do them no more (Habakkuk 3:1 - 2, James 2:13). In time past, the people of old cried for mercy (Psalm 51:1 - 2, 56:1, 57:1, 67:1, 69:1 - 4, 40:1 - 3) If we can cry for mercy today, as God showed mercy to the psalmist he will show you mercy.

Hymn: Great is thy faithfulness, Are you washed? I will guide thee.
