TOPIC: GOD WILL QUALIFY YOU

MEMORISE: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness….” (2 Corinthians 12:9 (a)

MESSAGE:

Our G. O has a favourite saying; that ‘Life is not by struggle’ and that ‘even if you are not qualified, God will qualify you’. To the unbeliever, this might sound strange but it is actually very real and true for those that choose to rely on God rather than their own strength and abilities. If you choose to rely on your own capabilities and physical strength, then you are in for a rough ride. You will struggle hard with no guarantee that you will even make it. While a few might be lucky, most people end up working like an elephant and eating like an ant. If the race was for the strongest then a truck pusher should have been the richest man on earth because he expends great physical energy in his work from morning to night. That does not reflect in what he takes home for all that labour.

This does not mean that you will work hard or put in no effort and expect a big windfall. No. Rather it means that whatever you want to do, first ask God for direction and guidance. The Bible says that we should commit our ways unto the Lord and He will direct our steps. You don’t need millions to start something. With little or nothing God can reveal to you an idea that will generate billions. He can divinely arrange your steps to connect you to a connection that on your own you could never have dreamed of. He will grant you favour that when you bid for a contract you will be favoured amongst others. He will give you divine utterance that when you go for that interview you will be able to impress the panel. This is because you have placed God first and committed your ways to His hand. While others are struggling He will go ahead and clear the path for you. That is what it means when we say that God will qualify you even when you are not qualified. God will never allow those that trust in Him to be put to shame.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Lord, I commit my ways unto you, open the heavens for my sake in Jesus' name.
2. O thou God of Chosen, qualify me even where I may not be qualified, in Jesus' name.
3. Dear Lord, go before our G. O and our mummy in the Lord and make every crooked path straight for their sake, in Jesus' Name.
