THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL....

TEXT:Genesis 9:1-7.

THEME: FRUITFULNESS IS YOUR PORTION.

MEMORISE:"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it:and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air and over every living thing that move the upon the earth. "(Genesis 1:28)

MESSAGE: 

One thing is certain:it is the will of God that we should be fruitful and multiply. You should never doubt that. Our memory verse of today records the first blessing that God showered upon mankind was to be fruitful and multiply and have dominion over all His creation. This shows how much importance God attaches to this area of our lives. Therefore, let it be clear in your mind that it is the Lord's will for you to be fruitful and multiply. You may be asking, why do some people find it difficult to be fruitful? This is because the devil our enemy is always on the prowl to frustrate every plan of God to make His children happy. The same way he caused the fall of man in the garden of Eden is the same way he is still plotting destruction even today, Remember, he is still on the assignment to steal, kill and destroy. But the good news is that he has been defeated on the cross of Calvary and all we need to do is to resist him and forcibly claim what is ours. (Matthew 11:12)

Note, some yokes will not break unless through prayer and fasting. An example is the story of Isaac. Despite the fact that God promised Abraham that it will be through Isaac that He would make him a father of many nations, Rebekah, Isaac's wife, was barren! Can you imagine that? This was the plan of the devil to cut short a glorious destiny and make Isaac to start to doubt if God was able to fulfill His promise. But instead of doubt, Isaac by faith entreated the Lord on behalf of his wife and God answered their prayer.(Genesis 25:21).Isaac did not sit down and wait for the promise to be fulfilled. Instead he aggressively entreated God to intervene and God answered. Are you still awaiting God's promise in the area of fruitfulness? It is time for you to stand up and aggressively pursue the fulfilment of that promise.

Worship /praise God and then take the following prayer points :

1. Almighty Father, I bless your wonderful name for bringing me safely into another new month, in Jesus' name.

2. O God open your book of remembrance and let every outstanding promise for me be fulfilled, in Jesus' name.

3. Preserve our G. O, Mummy in the Lord, their children and the entire family from all evil; fight all their battles and give them victory on every front, in Jesus' name.
