THEME: WE WRESTLE AGAINST POWERS

MESSAGE:
“12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13)

It will not be an overstatement to say that the kind of war that goes on in the life of any believer is a very serious one – not a child’s play as some people’s attitude to spiritual things especially prayer, proves. A lot of spiritual wars go on against the human soul. The bible considers the seriousness of these wars and declares that we “Wrestle not.” The word ‘wrestle’ implies the use of a combination of technique and sheer brute force to outmuscle an opponent. These wars are spiritual – against an organized dangerous enemy who has established kingdoms, thrones, strongholds, temples, covens, inner chambers etc in the air, land, waters (seas, rivers, lakes, ponds etc) and at the local and international frontiers to fight against humanity. They work twenty four hours a day and never observe public holidays. Such war is not the type that a believer will fold his hands and just watch; else he/she will become a prisoner of the war. The bible is very explicit about the nature of the opposition confronting us.

So, escaping from their clutches necessitates the deployment of heavenly arsenal which God has put at our disposal through the powerful blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is the offsetting factor against the raging of the enemy. Little wonder, the scripture explains, “And they overcame him with the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Therefore, the blood of Jesus is still available today to help you overcome the enemy. What is the secret or open battle going on against your life? You put hands here; no way and there, still no way. Enemies are raging from the village and threatening to deal with you. All you need to do is to challenge them with the power in the blood of Jesus. I bet; you are coming out victorious, in Jesus' name.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Wherever they gather against me for evil, I release Holy Ghost inter-continental ballistic missile mingled with the blood of Jesus into their midst to scatter them, in Jesus' name.

2. Any consortium of witches and wizards and occult powers holding midnight meeting against my life, receive Holy Ghost sulphur, fire and brimstone. Be suffocated, in Jesus' name.

3. Anywhere they are mentioning my name for evil or are invoking me in the mirror, I command Holy Ghost thunder to land in their midst, in Jesus' name.

4. Anywhere they are gathering against our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children; with the power in the blood of Jesus I release thunder in their midst, in Jesus name.
