THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: 2 Timothy 2:4, Luke 10:19.

THEME: DO NOT PLAY TO THE GALLERY

MESSAGE: 

“He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.” (Ezekiel 8:13)

Life is a like a stage where we play our different roles and leave the stage. It is also like a football game in which we also play to win and not to the gallery. In football, it is a wrong philosophy to play beautifully and lose than to play ugly and win. Playing beautifully only to lose implies that the players play to the gallery. in that case, the plays play stylishly and the fans clap for them and that is where it ends. In the game of life, each player is expected to play beautifully and also win - by not playing to the gallery. In fact, every serious minded player in the game of life must play to win. There is no point playing to the gallery when it will not guarantee victory at the end of the encounter. Remember, a trophy is usually to be given to the best team at the end of the day.

Now, a lot of evil abominations are going around you and yet, you take no notice of them because you are playing to the gallery. When a believer makes no conscious effort to know what is going on around him especially in the spiritual realm, it means he is playing to the gallery. The truth is that evil is going on in different secret altars, chambers, mountains, covens of witches and wizards against the children of God. In most of these places, they are summoned to shrines, spiritual mirrors, covens and altars, either to stab them with poisoned arrows or to wrestle their destinies from them. You cannot afford to fold your hands and watch while these kinds of abominations are going on around you. There is something you must do today: Wake up from your slumber and begin to counter them. God says, “Behold, I give unto you power” which means, that everything you need to do combat with the wicked abominations is already in your possession.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Any secret abomination going on against me in any altar, chamber, coven, mountain or cult group, scatter by fire, in Jesus' name.

2. Any native doctor or witch doctor or evil priest with wrapper on his waist and white chalk marked over his right or left eye; with palm frond across his mouth muttering evil against my destiny, collapse and give up, in Jesus name.

3. Any man or woman breaking native egg for my sake as a way of sending evil arrow, I command your arrow to return back to the sender, in Jesus' name.

4. Any projection from the air, land or sea targeted against our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children, back fire, in Jesus' name.
