THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...THEME: MAKE A VOW; SOW A SEED, ENTER INTO A COVENANT.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER, 2ND 2016.
THEME: MAKE A VOW; SOW A SEED, ENTER INTO A COVENANT.

TEXT: Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2

6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
MESSAGE:
"And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. "(1 Samuel 1:3)

One of the greatest undoing of contemporary believers is their inability to diversify when it is most needed. Imagine a situation where someone has prayed concerning a matter over a long period of time without receiving answers. Such person needs to take time out and reflect: What has gone wong? Where there still no answer? Why are things the way they are? And many more questions like these! You need to make a sincere appraisal of your prayer strategy and overall Christian life and discover those things that need to be done which you have left undone. Hannah had been going to Shiloh over the years with nothing to show for her efforts until she decided to make a vow.
What about you? You can still follow her example and obtain the same result. The truth is, if you need a different result from what you have been getting over the years, you must try to do things differently.
Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer points:
1. By the power and authority in the blood of the Lamb, I raise a strong lamentation against all the troubles, sorrows and afflictions in my life, in Jesus' name.

2. Any power responsible for sorrow and afflictions upon my life, I use the power in the blood of Jesus to summon them before the throne of grace and demand that the judgment of God come upon them, in Jesus' name.
