THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2016

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...
DATE: SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH, 2016.
THEME: EXPECT SHOWERS!
TEXT: Jeremiah 3:3
3:3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
MESSAGE:
"And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing." (Ezekiel 34:26)
This was a promise God made to His people during the time of Prophet Jeremiah; when the shepherds could not feed the sheep. They allowed the sheep to go astray. God promised to give them pastors after His own heart who will feed them with the right words. God has called me into his service.
Having done this, the expectation therefore is that the promise of Showers is a reality and must surely come to pass. All we need to do is to be in expectation. Expectation does not mean folding of hands and watching for the showers to come in through the windows. We shall be in expectation through fasting, praying (interceding, making supplications and petitions), sowing seed of faith, making vows and pledges and redeeming them and then waiting patiently for God to send the showers. Remember, it is God that determine the direction of the showers — sound health, long life, financial breakthrough, promotion at workplace or in business and so on.
Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:
1. Father, you promised to make me a blessing and cause the showers to come down at the right time. Knowing that your word is the absolute truth, I stand by it and command showers of blessing upon my life, family. business, marriage, career and ministry, in Jesus' name.
2. Whatever the enemy has programmed to hinder your blessing; be cut off. Any evil family tree hindering the showers of blessing upon my life; be uprooted from your very foundation, in Jesus name. Anywhere they have used black cloth to cover my destiny/glory; let the kingdom be destroyed. Let the black cloth catch fire, in Jesus' name.
