THEME: EVERYBODY MUST GIVE WHETHER RICH OR POOR

12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

MESSAGE: 

"I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)...." (Revelation 2:9)

The truth must be told here. If you are really serious about enjoying God's abundance at any point in time, you must have the mind of giving. There are people who believe that it is only the rich that should give. Not at all! Everybody must give according to his/her capability and God rewards based on what you give. A person that has a million dollars and gives ten dollars will receive less than a person who has five dollars gives all. It is not about how much a person gives, but the mind with which you give.

As long as you are a giver, though you might be materially poor in the eyes of people, yet you are rich, If you continue to give, you are spiritually breaking the chain and dominion of poverty not just over your life, but over the of your unborn children. Whoever does not give, indirectly builds an abode for the spirit of poverty to stay put. These are spiritual matters only the spiritually inclined will understand. So, make up your mind from now on, to give to the work of God and you will see the wonders attached to giving.

Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:

1. O God, make me to be spiritually minded that I might be able to understand spiritual matters such as giving, in Jesus' name. Any veil upon my life as a function of lack of knowledge of the Word of God be destroyed by the anointing, in Jesus' name.

2. Any spirit of stinginess ministering contrary views concerning giving into my heart; be silenced, in Jesus' name. Father, give me the grace to give cheerfully and bountifully, in Jesus' name.

3. Any power of my father's house demanding for sacrifice, worship or service; be destroyed, in Jesus' name. All the devourers destroying my harvest because I was not giving; lose your hold over my life. As I give today according to the instruction of God, I decree that good measures, pressed down and shaken together, shall men give into my bosom, in Jesus' name.
