THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

DATE: SATURDAY 9TH APRIL, 2016.

THEME: BEWARE OF COUNTER ATTACKS

TEXT: MATTHEW 26:41
41. Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

MEMORY VERSE: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. "(1 Peter 5:8-10)

MESSAGE:
Every believer must open his eyes very wide. The devil is always on the go. Afterall, there is no holiday in the spiritual realm. To this end, the devil works assiduously to achieve his objective of destruction in the life of any believer. So, you must be sober and vigilant.

Notwithstanding, Jesus Christ has made enough provision to ensure that you have victory on every side. No matter what you are passing through, the God of all grace will perfect His works upon your life, establish you in righteousness and holiness and then strengthen you and finally settle you. But all that depends on your ability to recognize the potency of counter attacks and then pray against it.

Sing praise/worship. Pray and thank God and then ask for forgiveness of sins and take the following prayer points.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Any power hunting for my head, receive destruction, in Jesus' name.

2. Any affliction targeted against my life, depart in Jesus' name.

3. Any power assigned to destabilize my spiritual life. be destroyed, in Jesus name.

4. Any power working against the program of God for my life, be terminated, in Jesus' name.

5. O Lord God my Father, perfect your work in my life, establish me in righteousness and holiness, strengthen me to work for you and walk with you; and settle me according to your promise, in Jesus' name.
