THEME: UNTIL THE DEVIL IS CHAINED AT THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, GOSPEL PREACHING CONTINUES
TEXT: JAMES 4:7.
7. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will will flee from you.
MEMORY VERSE: Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:27
MESSAGE:
The battle over conversion of souls rages on. It is a battle of life and death. In this mother of all wars, people in the camp of God fight against the people in the camp of the devil. Each camp is battling doggedly for the conversion of the soul of human beings on earth.
In this spiritual battle, unusual weaponry is employed as instrument of salvation and that of destruction. In the camp of God, the instrument is the gospel of the sacrificial death of our Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind while the devil and his cohorts have nothing but deceit, lies and afflictions which eventually lead to hell fire.
In order to checkmate this wicked mission of the devil and his agents, the redeemed people, chosen for this invaluable task must not rest on their oars in the prosecution of the war against the devil by relentlessly preaching the gospel season and out of season. It is in this manner the devil could be chained forever.
We can increase our rate of preaching in the morning. Early morning preaching is a double edge sword that cuts in two ways. It touches the sinners and makes them repent of their sins and also disturbs the operations of the agents of the kingdom of darkness. Several testimonies attest to the fact that anytime a true child of God is preaching in the morning, the agents of the devil are kept in check. Their operations are suspended as long as the preaching lasts.
Again, if you engage in midnight prayers, the operations of the devil and his agents are equally suspended as long as the praying lasts.
I will therefore encourage you to engage In activities that will frustrate the devil and God in His own way will bless you.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray for the strength and courage to engage in activities that will frustrate the devil and his cohorts.
Ask God to give you divine protection as you do His work.
AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
