SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE AT TLCCRM INT'L HQ, IJESHA, LAGOS, NIGERIA. 24/01/2016.

TOPIC: HE THAT SHALL DWELL ON HIGH - PART 1

TEXT: Isaiah 33:14-17, Psalm 24:3-5; Hebrew 12:14

INTRODUCTION TO MESSAGE
Whoever that desire to make heaven at last, must meet up with the criteria or principles whereby he/she can make it, the reason been that, heaven is holy and the abode of God (Isaiah 6:1-5).
Therefore, we must keep away from all evil or unrighteousness, we must hate evil and all its attraction (Psalm 45:7; Proverb: 1:10). We should endeavour to be pure in every area, we should remember that heaven is a holy place, nobody shall dwell on high or go up there with iniquity (Mathew 7:23; 1st Corinthians: 6:9), all those who want to dwell on high must meet the criteria (Psalm 24:3-5; Psalm 25:4-5). For better insight, we shall consider this message under two sub-sections;

POINT 1: THE QUESTION OF THE HEAVENLY MINDED AND RESPONSE
Many who truly want heaven are always searching and asking question on how they can make it or the criteria involved (Psalm 15:1; Psalm 24:3). The heavenly minded are always praying and searching their lives to ensure that they will make it at last, those who are heavenly minded in the old and new testament were continuously searching, praying and asking questions on how to make it, desiring to have the best place in heaven, and the Lord didn't hesitate to answer their questions or respond to them, he revealed and gave them answer to their questions, because it is what matters to Him most(Psalm 15:1-5; Psalm 24:3-5; Mathew 18:1-4; Mathew 19:17-21).

So, the Lord didn't waste time to respond to the question that matters, we all should know that when we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1st John 5:14).

POINT 2: THE CONCERN OF THE IGNORANT MULTITUDE, DANGER AND OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE
 In this present day, people who troop to churches are unlike those of old in new and old testament, they are rather concerned about the earthly glory or what to eat and what to drink or the things of this world (Exodus 16:1-3; Exodus 17:1-3; John 6:24-27).

Remember, our programme from "Sorrow to Joy" is at hand, let us take advantage of this opportunity to fulfill part of our goals or visions as we begin to tell everyone that we have a programme come and your sorrows will be turned to joy, let us begin to prepare now for there is no more time. Also, we should not forget our first fruits offering in order to reap this year (Galatians 6:7)

For those who are not yet born again and backsliders, they should repent of their sins, give their lives to Jesus Christ and accept him as their Lord and personal saviour (John 3:3;16; Romans 3:23; Revelation 21:8; 1st Corinthians 6:9-10; Proverb 28:13;1st John 3:8-9;John 14:6; John 10:10; Romans: 10:13).
