THEME: DO NOT TURN HIS BLESSING TO SORROW

MEMORY VERSE:
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverb 10:22
TEXT: Proverb 16:21
16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

MESSAGE
There are many things that causes sorrow in the life of a child of God. Aside circumstances beyond his control such as natural disaster or those inflicted by the enemy to distract him, some Christians mismanaged God's grace and privilege. Please read the Scripture above again and see the errors one can fall into in the course of exercising God-given benefits.

Turning God's blessing to sorrow includes causing others to suffer as a result of your own action. Most of the problem we have in our national life is as a result of those who lack the fear of God being in charge of affairs. That is why the Bible said that the labour of the righteous tends towards life - something that will give life to others and the entire society. It also provides means of livelihood for the man whose endeavour is blessed by God.
But many of those who enjoy the privileges provided by God, go ahead to abuse or mismanage His blessings. You can imagine what sin can cause in the life of a person and that of others around him, which is why in the Lord's Chosen we emphasize on holiness and righteousness. When you live a holy and righteous life, you attract God's presence which, in turn, attracts divine enablement.
God takes His blessings seriously which is why He always examine the the heart of man before making any commitment. Remember what the Bible says about human heart. "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life," Pro. 4:23. It is from a sinful heart that all the wrong issues of life crop up, and when this occurs, a man begins to mismanage or abuse the grace of God. In fact, from what the Scripture says, every part of a sinful man's body is evil.
Comparing the life of a true child of God and that of an unbeliever you see that one is opppsite of the other. I enjoin every Chosen never to abuse the grace of God. Our God has given us life, good health, shelter, fundametal human rights, love and other good things. In countries like China Christians are in terrible condition. There are places where people travel as far as 88 kilometers (or 55 miles) to attend Bible study. We must appreciate what we have.

PRAYER POINTS:
* Thank God for His blessings upon your life (mention them)

* Pray that God will give you the grace to remain firm and not to abuse His privileges.

AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).

If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.

Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?

Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)

Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?

Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.

LET'S PRAY:

If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:

Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven.

AMEN!
